WestCare Georgia's Augusta Alcohol and Drug (A&D) Intensive Residential Treatment Program provides intensive alcohol and other drug abuse
treatment services for adolescent males involved in the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) statewide. The Augusta A&D program uses a modified
therapeutic community approach in a male-only, secure residential treatment setting. The clinical curriculum is designed to meet the needs of
adolescent males ages 13–17 years old. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of:
REGISTERED NURSE – Person in this full-time position will oversee adolescent medical treatment along with: Initiation and delivery of Client
Treatment Plans, supervise on-call and emergency coverage, supervise medication management and insure documentation in medication log, work with
area medical personnel including psychiatrist to facilitate adherence with all recommendations, provide routine medical attention to clients as
needed, assess the seriousness of any health issues, refer to other medical providers as needed, supervise and oversee medication procedures,
provide training to staff and education to clients in health care, prevention and wellness. REQUIREMENTS: Current Registered Nurse status, 3
years recent experience in a Medical facility. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to pass background screening and

WestCare Georgia has two Independent Living Programs in DeKalb County – one for girls and one for boys. This program provides independent living
skills to six male and six female residents ages 14-17 who are in the custody of the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS). The
ILP Programs have full-time, part-time and PRN position openings:
DIRECT CARE WORKER – 16 hours per week or 8 hours per week positions available at Independent Living Program in the Tucker/Stone Mountain area.
Person in this position will provide oversight to adolescents, including transportation and life skills group and independent living skills
development. REQ: HS/GED and at least 1 year experience working in a residential setting. Ability to pass background screening and current

Westcare Georgia Boggs facility in Keysville, GA provides residential drug education and treatment services for adolescent males (ages 13-17) who
have a history of substance abuse or dependence. The principle approach to our treatment is based on a gender-responsive, modified therapeutic
community. This model embraces the concept that behavioral changes can occur through positive peer support and peer pressure. We are currently
seeking qualified candidates for the positions of:
SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR –Full time position responsible for the delivery of individual, group and family counseling services and completion of
documentation required for the clinical record including, but not limited to; implementation of the Individual Service Plan (ISP), psychosocial
assessment, daily notes and weekly reviews. Counselors will attend interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and monitor treatment throughout the
client's care. REQUIREMENTS: Masters or Bachelors degree preferred. Must be substance abuse certified unless proof of GA Paraprofessional
certification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to pass background screening and acceptable GA driver's license required.
