General Summary
Person in this position will be responsible for providing the overall leadership, supervision and oversight for the program. Overall
responsibility for the substance abuse treatment development which includes, planning, formulation and supervision of program goal and
objectives, program budget, program techniques and methods, staff selection, training and development, monitoring program effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree preferred, hold clinical certification (CADC, LPC or LSW). five years experience working in an alcohol and substance abuse
program; one year experience in supervision/management; must possess knowledge of chemical dependence, substance abuse and personality
dynamics of the substance abuser and knowledge of state and federal regulations.

complete assessment of each inmate with required assessment tools; initiate and sustain each individual’s motivation to participate in
treatment, develop a comprehensive service plan for each inmate that includes the results of assessments; provide daily treatment and
curriculum-based education groups on the basic concepts of therapeutic change, etc.

High School/GED or Bachelors degree required; hold a clinical certification (CADC ); two years experience providing alcohol and substance abuse
counseling services; knowledge of offender populations, criminal structures, and cultural differences, substance abuse assessment tools, and
therapeutic community concepts and various specialty treatment categories.

General Summary
Person in this position will be responsible for the supervision of the intake and assessment of clients in order to determine the appropriate
program and services they require. Complete induction packets and obtain all necessary documentation and verification of program eligibility;
Coordinate the entry of clients into the program with all agency program components; give presentations, speeches and seminars regarding
WestCare's services as assigned; preparation of necessary correspondence to referral sources regarding assessment outcome; perform any other
duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required; CADC from the Illinois (IAODAPCA) preferred with two (2) years providing alcohol and substance abuse
counseling services; intake and assessment experience is a plus.

Position: Non-Certified Counselor

treatment, develop a comprehensive service plan for each inmate that includes the results of assessments; provide daily treatment and
curriculum-based education groups on the basic concepts of therapeutic change, etc.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma; hold a clinical certification (CADC) or meet specified requirements within two after the date of employment (not work in any
supervisory capacity until such requirements are met; work under the direct, verifiable supervision of an individual who has staff supervisory
responsibility at the facility; sign and adhere to, a professional code of ethics developed by the organization; knowledge of offender populations,
criminal subcultures and cultural difference.
