“Welcome to our safe place” was written on a rock placed in a beautiful garden behind The Safe House, a place many call home who are escaping domestic violence. The garden was created by our mothers and their children that we serve. While restructuring their lives, plants are planted, watered, and nurtured – producing positive thoughts and energy during a time that can be difficult.
The Safe House, with its revolving door, welcomes all who are needing a safe place for the night or for a few months. We offer counseling, clothes, personal items, help with employment, housing and whatever else may be needed. Our goal is to ensure safety and help rebuild lives without domestic violence. Welcome to our safe place.
