Northcott Neighborhood House, WestCare Wisconsin, and Bader Philanthropies wanted to do something special for the families in the Harambee community. By working together, the Harambee Trunk or Treat was created. The weather was a bit frightful, but there were brave little angels, ghosts, seasoned seniors, and many other characters that made it a success.
We’d like to send shout outs to the 50 vendors who decorated their vehicles to provide candy to the residents. The Black Cowboys Association was even present providing horse rides to our little characters. We’d also like to thank the Milwaukee Police Department’s Mounted Patrol Unit for ensuring that the event remained family friendly and full of fun!
