On March 7, The Village South attended the Miami Dade College Job Fair at their Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami. This was the first job fair of a series of six that we attended in March. The Village South had two representatives attending this event was Keimon Kiper joined by our HR Generalist, Julissa Carrero. While both are new employees, they were excited for the task of attracting new talent to carry on our mission. They are filled with energy and are rapidly learning about our WestCare culture. They reported that there was high interest for the agency’s open positions as well as services. To this very important task, coordinators and directors are also joining forces, attending several of these specific job fairs to help with the recruitment process. The Village South is prioritizing participation in events like this as it continues to expand services rapidly.
