On April 28, 2024, WestCare GulfCoast, Inc – A Turning Point participated in the INTERGROUP picnic held at Fort De Soto Park. This annual event serves as a celebration of recovery, highlighting the possibility of staying clean and sober. The event featured individuals served at ATP, capturing moments of their journey towards recovery and emphasizing the message that recovery is attainable.
Corwin expressed his enthusiasm, describing the event as “sensational.” Ronisha, who repainted the Turning Point sign featured in the pictures, shared that the AA picnic meant everything to her, emphasizing the beautiful feeling of being surrounded by fellow individuals in recovery. Larry reflected on his experience, expressing gratitude to have participated sober and noting the profound sense of fulfillment it brought him.
