Since 1992, WestCare Arizona has provided a full continuum of community-based, family-oriented social service and behavioral health programming to youth; adults and families in the rural, tri-state area of Arizona, California, and Nevada. Our team of experienced staff is dedicated to providing the best care to everyone who enters our doors. Our goal is to uplift the human spirit by providing the skills and support for individuals to achieve their dreams and transform their lives.
WestCare Arizona provides a wide spectrum of health and human services in both residential and outpatient environments. That spectrum includes outpatient substance abuse prevention, education and treatment, domestic violence intervention services, DUI screening, transportation services, system advocacy, sober living homes, a community Thrift Store, transitional living, domestic violence shelter, and a group home for adolescent boys.
WestCare Arizona is partially funded by the State of Arizona Dept. of Economic Security, Mohave County, State of Nevada Attorney General Office, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), San Bernardino County, United Way, FEMA, Arizona Dept. of Education, and the Arizona Supreme Court.
Our dedicated professional team is deeply committed to the services we provide. In October of each year, we hold a 5K Fun Run/Walk for domestic violence awareness which is our highlight of the year. We have a good, solid reputation in our community as heard from customers and other providers that if you have an issue or question, call WestCare, they can do anything! We have a long list of volunteers that serve across all programs and are acknowledged every year at our annual Volunteer Dinner. Our Community Action Committee is made up of local community leaders that help us overcome major obstacles as we move ahead. It is not uncommon to see a staff member transporting a client to another provider to get the services they need when it is out of our scope of work or getting a client much needed dental work at no cost to them. Nothing stands in our way!
