Trauma Informed Ministry Model (TIMM) Training Program
The Trauma Informed Ministry Model (TIMM) Training Program helps individuals, faith-based organizations, and community partners better understand trauma, mental health concerns, and available support services.
WestCare facilitators lead meaningful discussions that help participants recognize the signs and symptoms of trauma and mental health concerns, respond with compassion, and encourage connection to appropriate support and resources.
Our TIMM Training Program serves faith-based organizations and community partners in Georgia, Texas, and Wisconsin through grant-funded training opportunities supported by local and state agencies, helping communities access valuable support services at no cost to participants.
Participants may earn three certifications: Youth Mental Health First Aid, which is valid for three years; CPI Verbal Intervention, which is valid for one year; and Psychological First Aid, which does not require renewal.
When obtained independently, these certifications typically range in cost from approximately $250 per person to $5,000 for a group of up to 20 participants, making TIMM a valuable and cost-effective resource for organizations and communities.
