We are extremely thankful for the support we received from Honoring Heroes at our VETcare facility. Last month, we collaborated with Mark to set up garden boxes for our veterans who find joy in gardening. This helps them stay occupied in a positive way while they are receiving our services at the facility.
Steve, an Army Veteran, received a brand new pair of boots from the organization in addition to assisting with moving soil for the garden boxes. This wonderful gesture was made possible through the coordination efforts of Case Manager, Chanel Harris.
Lastly, we are also thrilled to share the wonderful news that USMC veteran Coehen and his wife Joyce have just settled into their new apartment, thanks to the incredible moving services provided by Honoring Heroes. The couple received not only a new bed and bedding but also cleaning supplies and a sofa, setting them up for a fresh start. These acts of kindness not only support our community but also strengthen the bonds within it.
