St. Petersburg, FL – October 27, 2024 – WestCare GulfCoast-FL, Inc. embraced the Halloween spirit by participating in one of the most highly anticipated community events of the year. With over 100,000 attendees spread across 22 vibrant blocks on Central Avenue, the team handed out candy to a parade of ghosts, goblins, and even some “scary” aliens, bringing joy to local families.
In addition to the treats, children and parents created beautiful butterflies in celebration of Camp Mariposa. This year-round program offers addiction prevention and mentoring to youth impacted by a family member’s substance use disorder, symbolized by the butterfly’s journey of transformation.
